4. Phool Mahal

Phool Mahal means Palace of Flowers. This place was built by Maharaja Abhay Singh as a private men’s room. You can find every color here from ornate gold to colorful blue and green. This place served as the party room to the royals of the fort for the celebrations of victories, birthdays, and private meetings. There are paintings of the royal family on the walls of this place. This place served as the room of Maharaja Takhat Singh, who was very fond of the art. Takhat Nivas is very beautiful and full of paintings from Hindu mythology. X’mas balls are hanging from the ceiling of this room, which were a gift from the British. This place is very pleasing to the eye. There is a small bed in the middle of the room that was crafted so that the foot of the king can touch the ground to feel the danger.
