The guests have to report at the venue in Mumbai, an hour before the departure of the train, for the check-in and welcome formalities. All the details regarding the journey will be provided 14 days before the date of departure. The details will be provided either in the form of email or will be provided with the travel vouchers and documents of the journey.
You will get a traditional welcome during your check-in process. The first destination of this royal Journeys of the Maharajas Express will be Udaipur.
You will be assembled at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai at 08:30 hours in the morning for the grand authentic welcome and registration process. Around 09:45 hrs you will be escorted to the Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaja Terminus Railway Station to board the Maharajas’ Express luxury train where you will get enough time to explore the train.
The train starts its journey towards Udaipur by 10:50 hours.
Toothsome lunch (13:00 hours) & dinner (19:00 hours) will be served on-board at respective time.

Your morning will be surrounded by the historic capital of the kingdom of Mewar in the former Rajputana Agency – also known as the City of Lakes, in Udaipur.
After having breakfast on-board (at 08:00 hrs), around 09:30 hrs in the morning you will start your journey towards the Lake Pichola for boating and experiencing the arts, craft and famed miniature paintings at City Palace and the famous Crystal Gallery at Taj Fateh Prakash Palace.
Have a wonderful lunch at Satkar Hall of Fatehprakash Palace.
Post flavoursome lunch. You also have an option to chill at the hotel to keep your comfort at your footstep by taking spa sessions.

Train starts its journey towards Jodhpur at 21:25 hours.

10:30 Arrival at Jodhpur.
In the afternoon, lunch will be served to you onboard the Maharaja Express Restaurants.
After lunch, here comes the most awaited and glorious destination in Jodhpur as well as in the Rajasthan, that you will visit for a walking tour around the market area of Old Clock Tower. For ending the tour, enjoy the ride on Tuk Tuks.
In the evening, at 17:30 hrs, enjoy the delectable and exclusive cocktail dinner at Khaas Bagh or Hanwant Mahal.
Around 21:00 hrs, you will be taken back in the train and will proceed the journey towards the Bikaner.

Bikaner - The city of dunes and camel rides, the train arrives in the city around 09:00 hrs in the morning. Relax on-board or you may choose optional activities.

In the afternoon, around 14:30 hrs, you will proceed for the tour of Junagarh Fort, the fort is famous for situated on a hilltop.
End your evening at 17:30 with the traditional themed amazing dinner with cocktails and barbeques in the sand dunes.
Around 20:30 hrs, you will be taken back in the train and will proceed your journey towards the Jaipur.

After having enjoyable lunch, you will come back in the train or you can choose an option of spa in the hotel for relaxation or can go for local city tour and shopping in Jaipur.

You will arrive in the city of Mughal-Fatehpur Sikri by 14:45 hrs for a local city tour including Buland Darwaza.
